This was made as a school project under Singapore Polytechnic. This continues the Axolotl series with VFX design and begins the final chapter of the story. Legend has it that the Aztec god Xolotl disguised himself as an Axolotl. Now Axo awakens the power of Xolotl once again...
The power overlay in the animation is a redraw of the insignia of Xolotl, the Aztec god of fire and misfortune. It takes inspiration from Aztec design with unravelling square mandalas.
